carpet stains

Hi All

I have cleaned a carpet in a school, there was a water mark and other stains, i pre sprayed with prochem power burst then extracted with extraction plus,

but as the carpet dries the stains have come back can any one help with chemical diference process etc

Hi

As water is slightly alkaline it may of now damaged the carpet.

But, you could try a low moisture like bonneting or EnviroDri, with just a pre spray.

Its wickback.  Was it a low profile carpet?  You need to go back and bonnet them.

Thank you it is a lt a low profile carpet tile,

 because it was so bad i extracted but i will go back and  pre spray Bonnets wethod

Mike,

Might be worth hand drying the edge of the tide mark with a terry towel. You'll be amazed how much crap comes off even after you have extracted and bonneted and this should help it blend into the rest of the carpet. Definitely sounds like wick back to me.
