Handi-groom... I can't believe how few people use these or mention them
Perfect for getting along edges, not only on filtration soil but for getting moth larvae out as well
Also groom stairs up nicely after cleaning

I would use a combination of - Ultrapak renovate, and Stain pro, and Prochem citrus gel.
You forgot the leg of toad and tail of newt

Several years ago I invested in a crevice tool and when I come up against perimeter draught marks on light carpets I concentrate the prespray onto the edges more than normal. Where the aggitation machine does not reach the edge of the room we get a pile brush to aggitate in then extract with the crevice tool around the edges, after finishing wanding the room. It is a lot easier than getting on your hands and knees and it gives a superb result. The impression that it leaves the customer with is well worth the cost of the tool and the extra 2 or 3 minutes it adds to the time on each room. I have worked with many carpet cleaners but have not seen anybody else using one and find that fact surprising......... It is now something that my regulars take for granted.

Mike i had a brush like that and snapped the handle
so i cut it off flush drilled a hole and used an old saucepan handle with a butterfly nut to create any angle and save the back of my nuckles.
God knows where it is now if i find it might take it on dragons den :
