Seeing that Aqua mix are no longer selling to the UK and their products are a bit scarce at the moment, Im just wonering what products the rest of you guys are using.

In particular im looking for a good wet look ( high shine) hard floor sealer.

Got mine from Restormate (Carefree). I haven't tried the high gloss yet, but I've got a job to use it on Wednesday so I'll know more then.

The satin sheen I've used once went down easy enough, and the customers have been over the moon with the finish (pic attached).

Tumbled Travertine, Im looking for a topical seal/finish with a very high gloss or wet look.

I would agree with an inpregnated sealer, but this particular customer wants it as shiney and wet looking as i can get it  :

Yes. You can go satin to gloss just by adding additional coats.

Paul I've used nu lifes 'natural stone sealer' gets glosser with more coats and IMO it's good stuff - plus you can use it for slate, Victorian floor tiles and other stuff.

For extra super duper glossy finish they do 'natural stone gloss' which goes on as a final coat(s) but is only for final coats.

Just looked at the Nulife stuff and I have a tub of the Diversy Carefree emulsion that im going to test ( only used it on lino before).

They state that they are polishes or metalised emulsion and not  a sealer.

So here is my question, are sealers and polishers the same product but different terminology by different suppliers or are they in fact a different product?
 I always thought a sealer was a lot harder and therefore longer wearing and the polishers where for maintenence further along.

Not only do we still sell Aqua Mix as the products run out and that at the moment is very few we have replaced them with the new Aqua-Seal Range which are essentially improved Aqua Mix products except we have improved a lot of them.

The only products we have currently run out of are

Aqua Mix NanoScrub  replaced by Aqua Seal MicroScrub
Aqua Mix Grout Colorant in Black and Charcoal Grey   replaced by Aqua-Seal Grout Renu and Seal in the same colors.

I have the largest Aqua Mix Stock in the whole of Europe big enough to cope with any project Large or Small.

With regard to sealers for resilient flooring (marmoleum/linoleum, rubber, vinyl)

Normally sealers have a larger molecular size than finishes. They are meant as an undercoat for porous floors such as linoleum and some rubbers.

These are designed to be overcoated with acryllic finishes as on their own they are quite soft and wont stand up to traffic.

Some of the finishes available Pioneer Eclipse to name one are self sealing. Best to check first to save having to apply extra coats.
