Clinical-waste disposal services. Haringey Council are looking to appoint
a contractor to deliver building cleaning services to a portfolio of
designated properties owned and/or managed by the Council. The Framework
Agreement would be for four years. The service is currently provided by an
in house team of direct employees. The key objectives are to deliver a
quality cleaning service; operating to a defined contract and providing
value for money.

II.2.1) Total quantity or scope
See II.1.5 above. The duration of the contract term will be 4 years. The
annual expenditure is estimated at 1 000 000 GBP for Haringey. If Waltham
Forest call-off under the Agreement the total annual expenditure is
estimated at 1 300 000 GBP. The contract would operate against a defined
contract. It is envisaged that a highly responsive cleaning service would
be operating from the award of contract from April 2012.
