Yup I posted that diy site to you on it, must have been not allowed, I would think if it was going to be cut then at least a short explanation would not have gone a miss!

ie "Removed because of ???????????" etc
Everyone seems normal untill you get to know them!

Just to let you know Mike Boxhall has not been on this site for the last few days and will sort it out when he comes on again

If that is the case then Express Cleaning are shooting themselves in the foot.  There was quite an exodus when the PMs were stopped.  If this site gets too restrictive then there could be another.  It would reflect badly on them I think.  However, it may be nothing to do with this.  Maybe it's just a technical glitch and the deleted posts are just being deleted randomly.

it's either a technical problem or someone's 'playing about' again......

we're looking into it.

I tell you what else too...
This site has been running painfully slow for a few days.
It can't be my pc, I put a shilling in the meter last night.

An electrical problem that selects postings concerning self build systems and certain makers of WFP systems? Call me a cynic. Either someone has been hacking to put Mike in a bad light. Or what. Dai

Really? I didn't realise it was that specific.  Have  other posts have gone missing too that haven't been commented on?  Sounds a bit weird to me.

Hi guys,

To give you a bit of context we have lost at least two topics in the last couple of weeks , one on Microsplitters and the other on Panther Truckmounts.

Both were relatively controversial.

Cheers

I would like to add that a few of my posting have disappeared also.   BUT   mine contained NOTHING controversial/rude/offensive.  Even a posting headed TEST was deleted.
I am of the opinion that its either randomly erasing posts to allow new OR a moderator has more powers than he/she should and is messing around OR a moderator has let their password become known to a member in error.
I really cannot see Admin erasing random postings (as many deleted posts were not controversial).  This would risk mass exodus and severe backlash from all members.

Mike Boxall is doing his best to get to the bottom of things, its baffling admin too ???

Maybe some spiteful individual has hacked in and is now delibersately wreaking havoc.....now who would gain from this forum being messed up?

Food for thought eh?

agree with Mr Giles.
Pretty useless exercise for the Admin to be doing this deleting, it would only backfire on them.
