I dont actually know, but I just read an article that stated there is less waste when pumped, I think it was the Andrews site.

Hi There,

Yes you will have less waste when pumped also your TDS will drop.

We have tested these systems for our clients and on 100psi we have got 125l per hour 001tds and a watse to product ratio of 2:1

Pumps aren't cheap though!

I don't know if any of you are on a water meter but I know that typically the merlin is more efficient - however it produces a minimum of 1.25 ltr a min so = 1800 ltrs a day!  Are you going to need all that?  I only us 400 to 500 ltrs a day for about 200 - 300 work.

Its cheaper on a water meter than a standard charge rate even though you are wasting some. You can put it against tax anyway. How low do you want it to go?Im in a very hard water area 400 i use 700ltr per day and 1000 wasted my water bill on a meter was £300ish for 6 months not bad when you think how much work 700ltr of water will make you over the same period.

Suppose that's not bad - we don't pay water charges in N.Ireland so doesn't affect me personally - ahh the savings!!

AAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH >:( :-\ :-[ >:(   I suppose it's because we're all terrorists and I'm gonna use my car as a rolling bomb next time the army call round to search my house  -what a joke!  I pay double what I would in England and normally 5p a litre more on diesel. But then again, we cost the UK more than 3 billion £ a year!!  Sorry
