jet mac systems
« on: November 02, 2011, 05:32:31 pm »
evening all.
i run a small building and maintenance firm.

im looking to purchase a pressure washer to be used for surface cleaning and cleaning off plant. mainly be used to clean up after ourselfs on landscape projects and extension where we have made a mess on existing tarmac, concreat and paving.
would like to be using a surface cleaner like a whirlaway with the machine too.
the jetmac loncin 13hp systems seems well priced for new machine. are they anygood? or would i be better buying a better speced secondhand machine?
i have around £600 spend.

thanks in advance
ian

most use honda's due to the fact they are very reliable & we use them most day's,
i had a loncin when i first started 3 years ago never had a problem with it and had no trouble selling it when i bought the first of my two gx390s
with your buget and if you are looking for a new machine you wont go far wrong with the loncin,
for a new honda you are looking at about £1,300,
try e-bay see whats about,
!! if it can get dirty it can get clean !!

Thanks very much for te replys and advice.
That yanmar bit of kit looks great but I had somthing a little more portable.
It will only be used a few times a so don't really want to van mount it, somthing on wheels would be great.

Any more bargain you have come Across on eBay blast away?

Thank you

A trolley is only £89 from exchange engineering. The yanmar will save a fortune in fuel costs in the long run, I spent over £3k on a 14hp diesel to replace a Honda petrol which has paid for itself in the first year.

ok im now very tempted by this.
so just stick on a frame and good to go?
would the pump need servicing? im quite machanically minded, is it a hard expensive job?

also is the interpump used a half decent one?
thanks,

I have thought of hiring.
If hire charge is say £30 and I only have it twice a month then I've already racked up over £700 in 1 year alone. Buying would be a better option for me in the long run for me I think.

Most reliable and cheap to run is one of these...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YANMAR-DIESEL-PRESSURE-WASHER-/170722089611?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item27bfd45a8b#ht_577wt_1396

At £500 it's a good price.

To late, just bought it.. got it for £425 with some extras..
