Been drinking Dave?

You're definately not a normal window cleaner as most window cleaner don't sleep with their RO's. You weren't even embarrised to post on Facebook that you'd taken your Merlin RO and pole with you on holiday in case you could get some work.  ;D

Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

My swarthy good looks and dazzling repartee usually (or used to) do the trick for me.
I don't need to justify my job to them. They're not worth bothering with anyway, if they judge you on what you do for a living.
A bit like a window cleaner looking down on a bin man  :-\.

I was Ascot races a couple of years ago and got chatting to a lady who asked me what I did and when I replied I run my owm window/gutter cleaning business she replied  " you don't look like a window cleaner "

I asked her why what do window cleaners look like ?    she couldn't answer   but she seen that being a window cleaner had no hang ups for me.

the thing is if your a window cleaner and are to ashamed to tell people then you really need to look for another profession.

be proud of what you do and let others know how proud you are.

I recently bumped into one the HR officers from my last company for which I had a well paid poisition for 18 years before being made redundant,   she asked me what I was doing now and when I told her she actually asked me if I had any vacancies as her husband had lost his job.

I suppose we all fall into the trap of defining ourselves by our job.

It's a game of three halves!

A lad is going out on a date with a young girl.
His dad says " be careful, son and remember what I told you".
The lad says "what's that, dad".
"You know....to take a....you know....a c-c-c...."
The son says "oh, a condom?"
Dad replies "no, a cap, you ginger gimp".

I'm a wheelie bin and gutter cleaner - and proud of it! I go to network meetings and I'm never ashamed to tell people what I do. What anyone thinks is their problem and not mine.

Someone said to me, very recently, as it goes- we do our jobs because of the people we are. We're not the people we are because of our jobs.
No, I didn't get it either.......and she was only a social worker.......JOKE  ;D.

I once knew a guy who went to a dinner party with his wife... they were sitting next to a couple they didnt know and were chatting away... the couple across from them asked what they did and if they had kids. The guy told him he was a mechanic with 2 kids and he had locked them in the garage whilst they came to the dinner party.

He went and asked the unknown couple what they did and if they had any kids as it was polite to do so...

The unkown couple replied with no kids... but we are social workers !!!

Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

I never get asked either as i avoid all social contact except for the window cleaning customers and they are slowly learning not to ask me anything at all if they value their sanity.
