hi guys hope someone can help me here,just recieved my merlin ro today.just put it together,no water is coming out the black drain tube and my tds reading is the same coming out the blue pipe as it is going in   any ideas guys.thanks in advance

What did you have to put together? Surely it would of came built up?

Have you put the membranes and the pre filter in the correct place ?

Have you taken the wrapping off the membranes ?

are the rubber seals on the ends of the membranes ?

hi all,got it from cleaning spot,and  yes carbon prefilter at thetop and the 2 ro membranes at the bottom.no idea why no water is coming out the black drain tube ,tds is now coming out at 59 from 260 going in,is that about right?

It should get less as it runs through, should get down to 30 ish I reckon

Water will come out of black tube, thats the waste, and it should be coming out of that one much more than the blue tube, which is the pure

still no water at all coming from the black tube,pulled out the tube and pushed it back in but still no water,got no idea why nothings coming out
blue then black than white

What order are your pipes from bottom to top please Brett?

Mine is Blue  (pure water) at the bottom
Black next one up (WASTE) then
Clear (water in)
Then a blocked off button. If yours are in a different order that might be your problem

you should be getting water from both pipes  as stated by mike

when new they do need running for a couple of hours to bed in but we need to know where
all the waste is going
