omnivac or similar

Hi everyone

just wondering if anyone can give any info on gutter cleaning equipment such as the omnivac or similar.  im doing it by hand at the moment and would like to know if there is an easier and safer way to clean gutters.  Any info on price. effectiveness. is it worth the outlay etc would be a great help. :-\ :-\ ??? ???
