I know freezing temps are good for dust mites, but a programme I saw on bed bugs they were using heat. Obviously this was a major major operation as many items had to be removed from the house and the occupants put up for the duration.

I don't think anyone's come up with a simple fix yet otherwise we would have heard about it. A bit like documentaries about whether aliens exist.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.
