Gaz,

apart from the rain, it's been fairly mild here in South East Wales.  I'm still in a polo shirt.

Where do you live?

My pole hose has been a lot stiffer the past week or so.
I though maybe its had it so ordered some more.

Maybe my hose is ok then maybe its because its getting colder.

My tricoflex hose is still exactly the same though no stiffer than normal.

Hi Gaza

You have been quite lately which is not like you.

It could have been older but what i did mean was with the weather getting colder thats why my hose might me going stiff.

But there again maybe like you say might be because its getting older.

Who Knows ?

My pole hose always gets stiffer in the winter, bending it and putting a kink iin it to stop the flow is hard work in the winter ;D

I tend to put it in my mouth and bite hard on it with my teeth, get some funny looks from people going past though, with my hose bent double between my teeth I must look pretty strange.... :P

The above is totally innocent, but ye gods ::) It's laden with inuendo though, and it isn't even intentional!!

I find the no torsion hose from b&q brilliant it is 100 times better than the hoselock branded hose .I know because i use them both.

It does not kink and is a delight to use.and it is quite a soft hose and does not go hard ,well not as of yet

If ya hose gets stiffer in the cold keep it warm and it'll stay bendy..

Only solution I can think of is to use warm water..

but due to the cost of that I think I'll suffer a stiff hose for the next few months, and when it starts to get soft again I'll know the summer is around the corner
