I am not sure but looking at pro built systems they all seem to
have DI polishing units. now I thought the idea was thet even if the reading from the Ro went up a few TDS even over a few days
you could still go to work knowing your TDS was 000ppm
as it woulg be going through the DI unit on site
is this not right?

in theory YES, but most pro built systems have a RO in the van aswell, as its all self-contained, so i guess the DI is part of that
Ive been chatting to a local guy who has a Ionics system, that has a DI bottle in the van, he says incase he runs out on site and needs some pure water
Im only speaking from personal useage, i have 2 Barrels sat in my front foot-well, that have bits of leaves etc in the bottom, they have been unused for about 2 weeks, they will stil be 000 TDS
000 TDS doesnt just start to rise and become impure, well not to the extent we need to worry about
