Just play with the pressure and temp on a couple of test patches and you should be ok!!

Not sure if it would work, but have you tried a bit of white spirit as may help with the cleaning process

Carried out test during wk worked ok just using steam...
machine we used was around 20l /m so had trouble getting max temp due to flow rate... tried reducing pressure via nozzles . revs..  unloader... sure results would be far quicker using lower litres m/c = higher temp
... any how, client happy with demo booked for start 2 wks time
