 ;D ;D

Mate, Lee Kenny said the same thing when i spoke to him. I dont know what you guys are searching, but when i type in ''pressure washing'' i come up like, last on the first page. Google is location orientated, so when i type in pressure washing, it comes up with all the pressure washers in Glasgow. Should be the same for your area.

I did spend a fair bit of time going through my keywords, and i check google anylitics for what ppl search for, then i just go in and change my keywords every few weeks to match what they search.

I also change some words on my site every few weeks in the text, just to keep it abit fresh.

Ive got different keywords on different pages, so on my driveway page, all the keywords are about driveways,

Also, apparently, when you use google on your computer, and you search certain things, the cookies on internet explorer or whatever browser you use, they store the pages to an extent, so when you go into google again and search for the same thing, certain sites will be in the same positions on your computer, but might be higher/lower in reality.

So when your searching for yourself, sometimes you might be higher than you actually come up on the search, because your cookies have stored your last position. so when you search for your own site, always clear the cache/cookies in your browser before you search, it will give you a better idea of your position.

Otherwise, i guess ive just got lucky  ;D

P.S - I havent paid a penny for my site, or any SEO...but i can sign you up for a monthly fee if you want and ill do yours  ;D

Yeh I know what you mean. Same thing happens if you're logged into Google too. Log out and the search results change.

Good luck though. If I was you I'd drop 'Glasgow' to the end of you page title. To make sure potential click throughs do click onto the site without being put off by seeing the word when the results come up. That way you'll get more nationwide calls and you can sub out the Northwest work to me! (Lee can have Wigan though, they're all poor in Wigan)

Yeah, thats a good idea actually.. cheers..  :D

Wigan cant be as poor as us glaswegians... :'( ;)

Mate quick question, do you get much work through that other website you have, graffitiremovalmanchester?

I was thinking about doing something similar, but some idiot has just gone an bought the glasgow domain name...

Just wondering if it is worth it, having a seperate site for the graff stuff, or do you get most of it through your main site?

Cheers

Mainly through the main site. Got a problem with that domain to be honest that I've forgotten to sort out that you've now brought to my attention.

What are the top 3 main keywords this year that have taken people through to your site?

Mine are;

The three main ones for me are:

Precise Pressure Washing
Pressure Washing
Pressure Washing Glasgow

But i think you and lee kenny have boosted the key word ''Pressure Washing'' up for me after you searched for it all those times  ;D

Most of my top keywords have something to do with glasgow or suburbs in glasgow.

Mate i might send you an email later just about your other graffiti page

lee's right, I'd drop the glasgow too, only in your title though, you will still get picked up from glaswegions as your content will inclde glasgow, you could be sitting on a goldmine there mate... just out of curiosity how many calls a day would you say get from the website?
As you could use this to find out the difference in volume of calls if you took glasgow off, trial it for a month, if it doesn't seem to work then you could always put the glasgow back in your title at anytime
Well done and good luck with it  ;D
And Lee, I'm writing to the local councilor seeing if I can get the wian boundaries extended to include most of manchester and cheshire seeing as I rank well for wigan, told him I'll sort him some commision out  ;D

He only needs to put 'Glasgow' towards the end of the title. Not all the title is shown on the search anyway so it would still come up but just be disguised.

I might move down to your neck of the woods boys....we could make a fortune.. sew it all up.. ;D

Lee K, the calls i get are purely random, somedays the phone doesnt ring once, other days, its 3 or 4 calls wanting a price.. its so hard to judge with this whole web thing, you can only do so much i reckon, then you just have to let google run its course,

Apparently googles changing, letting everyone get a fair go at high ranking, its not just totally about the SEO anymore.. dunno if thats true though..

All this new work im gonna get from dropping the word Glasgow, ill need to work out a finders fee...bottle of rum? cash? might put the jobs on ebay 8)

Use it nearly every day mate, it's got a yanmar engine on with a 21 litre interpump.

ahhh ok, cause im thinking of getting rid of my van mount, but keeping the hot box from it, and mounting the hot box in the van, and getting a small machine like lee was selling, and also getting a bowser with machine mounted on it.. so i can just plug either machine into the hotbox if needed.

Few decdent bowsers on ebay at the moment, thats why i asked.. cheers
