Calendar for 2006
« on: November 03, 2005, 11:59:46 pm »
Hi there, just to lets everyone know that i'm in the planning stages of producing a calendar of 2006 for window cleaners. This calendar will be sold at cost price. Has anyone got any photos or cartton captions that they would like me to consider putting in the calendar. Also who would be interested in buying one. Please get your photos to me as soon as possible as we are now in Noivember

Hey Gordons;

I too thought of producing and selling calendars for window cleaners but honestly; the cost of producing one and breaking even is questionable.

Not trying to knock your idea; you should do what you wish; but I think it would cost more to produce than you could charge.

Calendars are pretty inexpensive. The average cost is about $5.00. To produce one with good quality layouts and materials would be close to the same if not more.

You may do better to canvass more and pick up more accounts instead of putting a lot of time into the calendar.

I intend to post my pics for each month on a printable format for free. You can go to windowcleaningcalendar.com and view each month.

I was going to use lots of window cleaning oriented pics but posting a blonde that cleans windows for a living seems to be preferable.

I hope to put a smile on some faces for free. I am one of you. If I can brighten one day for one person I am happy about that.

I have not been back in the swing of things much yet because it has only been 18 months since my son died; it will take time. A lot of time. I had no idea how much .

So if I drop off from posting anything on the forums or late on a pic on the calendar it is because some times it is all I can manage running my business because of my sorrow.

I withdraw and then more healing occurs and I come back stronger.

Hope all is well with everyone.

Hugs ,   Debbie :-* :-* :-*

We're all ok thanks Debbie, and it's nice to see you back.

You haven't missed a lot here.

There's been a lot of fun chatting, but it would be either in work hours or the middle of the night for you!

Keep showing us those calender pics though. :D

Cheers,  Rog.

Take care and keep posting.

You, your son & your family are in my thought as along with others on here.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

We window cleaning proffessionals have a bond.

I am not looking for sympathy; but I am up and down on this forum so in case anyone wonders am I strange?

In the past when someone spoke of greiving about losing a loved one(spouse, parent, child) taking years; I thought to myself; "how could it take that long"?

Well now I know. Even when it happened I did not realize the painful journey. The pain is alway's there. I hate it.

So I act weird some times. Thank God I am at the point that I can manage my business and make a living.

Weird means withdrawn; in my castle overlooking the lake.

Temporary only; just drawn out.  We can run our businesses at times  on the phone if we have workers.

I am grateful for that. Will post November pic tommorrow. Been working out a lot. Vanity keeps me in shape!

Thanks again for all kind comments.  Hope everyone's business is thriving.

I love this business! And love you all too!

Hugs,

Debbie :-* :-* :-*
