HOT Air Mover
« on: October 11, 2011, 05:36:20 pm »
God a customer needing to dry exterior balconies to lay resin flooring.

Anyone know of a hot air mover that can be used.

Cant see anything on Google. I know you get a lilo type attachment for air movers.
Anyone know somewhere in UK that stocks.

I am not up to speed on the whole building drying area of expertise.

Thanks in advance
Jamie.

I think that the TES system may do it.

As  hot air rises you will probably find it just as quick to use cold air dryers as you would have to keep the air contained  in order to keep it warm and in contact with the surface. With most resins it is the evaporation of the solvent that allow it to cure so ventilation could well be a bigger factor that heat. It is not practical to lay drying mats on a wet resin floor, so you may be better to tent the area to increase the temperature. I have had problems curing solvet based adhesive before in leisure centres although the heat was high without ventilation the air becomes saturated with vapour......

They need to dry concrete balconies so they can lay the resin.

The D A D system was what I was thinking of. Who sells them in UK?
