Thanks guys.I think I have it set too low. The point on setting it higher and doing the job faster makes sense. I will try it when I get it back from williamsons.I hardly ever use the on off button. I fitted a simple toggle switch on the top of the pumpbox. It cuts the feed from the battery to the Variflow. It is easier to get to than opening the pump box where the unit is located.I found that with the flow turned down it takes ages to rinse, especially on beading panes. The boffins are examining my Variflow. They have sold a thousand of them and mine is only the second one to go wrong. This has not been a good week. DAi
