There do seem to be two types. I found the softer one sometimes pulls out of the pushfits too easily - pretty inconvenient if it's the pushfit at the brush end and the brush is 50ft in the air. Yet to use the non pushfit fittings takes away the ability to do a quick change with the brush.I haven't tried it yet but I'm considering the following: Supergluing a small piece of John Guest tubing on the relevant ends of the pole hose in an attempt to force a better grip. This will probably mean having to use slightly larger double female pushfits. Here's hoping that they will fit through the section 1 clamp.

Is it true that they have changed their pole hose recently,or did i dream it?If yes, then can somone give me the run down on it please
