Can someone shed some light on "buzzdock"? What it is and what is means for us?

When i search for carpet cleaners sunderlan  it is at the top of the results (a row of icons)

When i click on the youtube icon up pops johns (aquakleens) vids, mine is a little further along i had a little play with windows movie maker last week.

Does this mean that google is now linking search results to youtube twitter etc (I dont know what the other icons are)

And more importantly is this going to start to affect search results? meaning we will all have to start doing vids, twitter etc and linking it all together to improve our web rankings?

p.s. It has also appeared on ebay??

mystery solved it seems ive downloaded and installed an app by accident

I'm not sure whether you mean it's on your phone or PC. There was some software around a while ago (hidden in a free download) that effectively hijacked your search results.

It showed ads that contained affiliate links belonging to the person who sent it (making them money every time. It also gave false rsults. you bought something online

I would check that you clean all of the cookies (use CCleaner from Piroform.com - it's free).

Also, do a search for this thing ("start" > "search" , in case it has left anything behind.

It may be nothing but it's worth checking.

Yeah Garry its on my laptop I thought google had made changes re: search results but its just some crap ive inadvertantly installed.

Ill try ccleaner after ive uninstalled it cheers
