Are window cleaners getting desperate for work

Had a window cleaner i know contact me asking if i wanted to sell all my poop work and non payers and any work i dumped as he is convienced he can turn them in to good payers,  think some wc are getting desperate for work

maybe buy em cheap .... loose a percentage ... stick em up in price ... turn over to door collecting ... run em for a few months and then sell em on for a higher price

like buying a car from auction that needs work ... fix it up and sell for a profit

Like junk debt buyers really. Companies pay millions for billions of pounds worth of delinqent accounts. Some companies pay only 2-3 cents to the dollar owed, its big business and its the fastest growing industry.

Same kinda thing buying up bad custies really, smaller scale.

local ones around my way keep putting flyers through letterboxes promising discounts for fixed term contracts and persistently pestering same customers

Ther's a sign gone up in my local shop, "GUTTERS CCLEANED £10 PER HOUSE" I know some cleaners who travel 7 miles to do two £5.00 jobs.

Not desperate but worried. Lost 5 last week, 2 said they dont want the cost this winter. Others I didnt bother asking as things are poop out there and I dont want to hear it twice.

You could always do a few hours in the Viv or at the arches  :P

Had 2 of mine go from 8 weekly to 4 weekly today ... Just like getting 2 new customers ... Mad busy loads of new customers ... Well 5 last week ... Not all doom and gloom ... If u loose some just get out and canvass ... Masters of our own income
