Have you got Fantastic Cleaners in your area ?.Reason for this posting just found out that they are google mapping in my area (Medway Maidstone) ,using false addresses.

Dont know about fantastic cleaners but the false addresses may be virtual offices,
dont agree with that idea at all but little you can do about it. Local guy to myself has 1/2 a dozen.

Hi Mike thanks for reply back...The addresses are people houses when i went to the places one house owner was shocked that they were using it.

If you mean Google places, then you have to verify your address from a postcard that they send out, so how would this be possible?

thats great 4 u then report them to trading stds, sure the house owners are not related ?? hard to find out again local guy to myself was doing that ? Still report them as against the law as they are pretending to have multiple offices ts classed it as deception

One from Portsmouth (25 miles) who lives just down the road....Not
One from I think London (30 miles) who's address is in the hospital....Just how does that work

Thanks for all the replys back...I have just got a email back from google maps they are looking in to it...Check out Chatham fantastic cleaners reviews all 5 stars all false..All my local carpet cleaners are going mad about it...I spoke to the fantastic cleaners call centre yesterday and told them i have been around to the addresses, they said they will remove them by Monday..They said it helps them to get on the first page of google...This is wrong.

unless it's changed recently you don't have to confirm your address for the first 3/4 locations maybe a few more, so you can add as few more random places.

we have more then one listing on gmaps but there are staff locations so figured what's the difference as we cover the area because of staff so have an employee near to them, and they all verified by postcard so can't get removed either. if you think they aren't real it's easy enough to report and will quickly get removed if found to be false.

also thought i'd point out the maps listing aren't always put there by the owner. google uses places like thomson local and many others, which may have the address incorrect and use a standard town centre locatoin

Hi........Just found out that one of the house owners fantastic cleaners were using for the false address have contacted Trading Standards..Doing a carpet clean near to this person tomorrow so going to pop around there for a chat...They have also used all the free listing sites in the area as well....I am ringing Fantastic cleaners tomorrow....I will keep you posted..
