Money/Bum Bags
« on: October 26, 2005, 03:08:54 pm »
Am fed up with buying the cheap leather bum bags from Chepstow Market as they get ripped within a few weeks.

Does anyone know where I can purchase an old fashioned milkmans bag (with zip).

What do you use to keep your taking, change, cards in etc.

Thanks,

Sarah

Thanks guys,

Purchased one of those at the w/c exhibition in Birmingham.

Hubby must be heavy handed as within a few months it had torn apart.  Made out of large thread canvassy material and just pulled apart.

 :'( :'( :'(

I should stop him collecting money and do it myself - that way it will cut out the middle man eh  ;D ;D ;D

Gaz - did you bring us some rock and a kiss me quick hat back ?

Sarah

PS  More help needed on this thread please

Don't know about your area but about 7.45 at the market a chap walks round the market stall selling those bags to the market traders.

Go to the bag stall and ask if they can get you one that what i did and i gave them an extra couple of quid for there trouble.

I don't use one anymore but did when i was a milkman

Try this:
http://www.berghaus.com/index.asp?bhcd2=1130344858

Fits envelopes, my pda, change, keys and phone clips on the side. My colleague and I have tried numerous pouches and bumbags and this, we reckon, is the best!

Sorry that link doesn't appear to go where it should. It's on the Berghaus site and they call it the Multi-Pocket. Sorry!

Hi Tomo,

Yes I have read some of your threads and know you have been out with Tosh and left wine at his door.  Stop it right now - he'll want it from us all !!!

Based in Cwmbran but dont travel outside to clean.  We do get a lot of call from the Langstone and Pontypool areas so if you want to email me your number I can give it to them providing you travel that far.

What side of chepstow are you ?

Sarah

PS  : Am about to post a thread on ' passing on work' so drop in.  (Give me 10 minutes as I am not a quick typer)
