I'm gonna go out leaflet dropping this week for some guttering work. I've made a leaflet (which is attached) and would really appreciate your feedback. Say what you like - I'm not the sensitive type.

Thanks.

Cartoon is funny, but stick a before and after picture there

too much to read - you have 7 seconds to get there attention - KISS (keep it simple stupid) ;D
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

Here's one I did recently, I too put it on here and most feedback was negative.
I haven't used this version yet, a friend is printing the double sided version for me at work.

I do think that we have to leaflet drop then follow up with door knocking within 2 days. Seems to be the most productive according to the guys on here.
I tend to find that I get better results when leafleting early evenings. Royal Mail put that much junk mail thru your door every day nowadays, so when people get home it all goes straight in the bin, yours included un-read! so best to deliver yours at a time of day when they are more likely to actually read it!
Another little trick I always try to do is make as much noise with their letter box as possible to try and gain their attention without actually knocking, hopefully they come to door and read your leaflet and sometimes come straight out after you. Works sometimes. Have gained a few like that.
I also always knock on the house where its obvious they have no WC, there and then.

interesting I don't do that for one reason, if they lived with minging windows for so long guaranteed in a few months the novelty of having clean windows wears off then they mess you around

If your working in that area anyway, cash is cash. Even if only for a few cleans its still cash. Pays the bills.
I get your point, but I never turn work down, well not until I have too much of it.....
