Business cards / quotes New
« on: September 04, 2011, 08:46:25 am »
looking at doing a bit on canvassing over the next couple of weeks looking at either putting a box on either the reverse of business card or on the flyer where a quote can be submitted if the occupant is out
anyone do this and does it work
usually flyer first day then knock the day after but some juicy houses never seem to be in

I wouldn't put a quote on without the home owner asking as it looks like you have been walking around their property without permission.

i have dont this and it has worked! if no ones in when i knock i just  put a quote on for cleaning front of the house, then when they ring you go and clean and quote for the back as well.

many thanks

Cant see a problem with it if you put on the back that the quote is for a standard house without an extension or conservatory
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

Would be a bit time consuming though wouldn't it writing a price on every card when someone is out?  I assume that all the houses in the area you are canvassing won't be the same even at the front let alone the back.
