profit after wages and income?? i told already, 4500-5000 net profit after business costs, it's your wage and income a month.
i'm selling both, the business model with over 3000 customers and potential, potential is when you invest some money into it to expand it rather then working all by yourself.

;D
what are the other dragons' opinion here?  8)
i'm open for offers  ;)

why is it too good to be true anyway? it is a proven business model with the potential to earn even more if invested wisely.

And therein lies your problem, are you selling a business model which is in itself of little value without customers or are you selling potential which is also worth nothing.

Selling window cleaning work at least comes with customers.

I ask you again, what is your profit after wages and income?

hi there,
How much would you pay for the real e-commerce business which brings £4500-5000 net profit monthly?
Basically one man can handle this business full time working from home. For how much would you value it and if possible would prepare to pay?
i'm a window cleaner myself(part time now) and sold two of my rounds previously for 4-5 times of the monthly profit. I'm wondering if anyone would pay around £25000 for the e-commerce business with above profits which is really easy comparing to window cleaning??
you thoughts please....

Are you asking because you have a business model to sell and want to suss out what we would all pay, or is this a one off opportunity that you are chasing for yourself?

i'm selling the business model with the websites with established customer base, it's not a one off opportunity scheme! i'm running this business for the last few months, i scaled down my window cleaning business for this as the return is much better.

Because if you really had an e-biz that makes £4K to £5K per month net, for very little work, working from home, then loads of people would be doing it; and then you wouldn't make £4K or £5K.

Simple really.

It's too good to be true.

Tosh, i have a good respect for you on this forum  ;)
There are other businesses out there apart from the window cleaning, would you agree with this?
Why many not doing it? they are doing, it is a growing market! The problem is that not many can develop a business model which would really work and bring such returns. I spent a lot of time to reach to this stage.
How much do you earn each month? probably nearly as much and there are thousands of window cleaners out there doing the same thing, so following your logic, are your earnings decreasing over time?
it's too good to be true for someone who is not aware of what i do, my business model.
 ;)

Most would sell for 3 x adj net profit, so i'd guess a value 150k ish. Stick to cleaning!

no i wouldn't sell for 150k, i wish, i'm a realist, i'm more inclining for the value near to £35k, don't know really, i'm enquiring at the moment.

so tosh.... look at this site and how many people view the forums,
advertisers love lots of people, so theres a good income frm advertising on here but ...how long would it take to run/moderate this site?

maybe a site like this for people on how to work from home on their computors would be a success?

maybe its been done.....

good point!
e-commerce is developing very fast, many people are making a good living from this, just see how many websites you see on tv adverts every day.

Why would you want to sell something that makes £4k+ proffit a month ?

If it was me i would be sitting at home raking in the cash ;D

well that is you, not me, hence we differ  ;)
why i'm selling? i want to move on to other area, i can't stay in one business, i get borred, why dont i sell it if i can sell it for a good money?

No, Farkham, you're not comparing like-for-like.  There's more people capable of sitting at home and operating a computer than there is dealing with the often tough, gritty, dirty work of window cleaning.  And window cleaning often attracts those with no other options - and these types often can't hack it.

You're out in all weathers (and blazing sunshine is just as tough as freezing cold), there's dog poo to contend with, it's tough work; and many can't handle the drudgery.

If the work was easier and more glamorous; we'd have a lot more window cleaners.  I see them start, and I see them disappear.

Now, compare that with working at home, in a nice clean environment - warm and cosy - no traffic jams or bad weather?

I am not saying you're lying; but I would examine such claims very carefully before I parted with any cash.

The thing is your not letting anyone know what the business entail. Now i dont mean tell everyone the ins and outs of the business and how it runs but if i were to give any kind of offer for a business i would like to know at least a little about it and not just that its an e-commerce business that brings in 4-5k a month.
You dont have to get right into details but i would want to know a little about what kind of business it was and not just an e-commerce, how many hours work you had to put in per week, do know need any kind of skills at all and do you need any equipment other than a pc and an internet connection.
If you were to expand on it abit i'm sure you would be getting some more serious replys because like tosh said i think most people with the internet have though of working from home but most of the stuff out there is just true good to be true.
Saying that the only other thing that worries me about this is the fact that you are looking to sell a business that makes that kind of money a month after only a few months at it. I know you said you get bored if your in one business for too long but i've got food in my fridge longer than you've been in that business.
Plus how do you know that it will last? Do you have proof that what ever it is that your doin will still be needed done in 6 months, 1 year or 5 years down the line?

i dont wanna give any details at the moment,i'm just tasting the waters to see if people can be interested or not, to be honest i'm confused myself to put this in this forum  :)
As per your questions, an ideal person should know about internet, a bit of knowledge of google adwords(not necessary as it can be taught by me), know some basic knowledge of how websites work(again can be taught), communicate with customers, be patient with their needs and problems. Also the one needs to have at least £5000 a month to keep the cashflow.
i work around 5-6 hours a day, but it is stretched over the day, so roughly 5-6 hours. You don't need any equipment but you need a small place to keep some stock, have your pc with internet and leather chair  ;D
i tell you there are a lot of people out there making a good living with e-commerce business, this is a lot different world than other conservative jobs.
This is business will stay here for a lot for time than you can imagine, it is just pure simple. I'm not gonna tell the nature of it, not here.
Why am i selling quick? there are couple reasons, one personal another one business, i'm an opportunist, if i see an idea then i'm out to get it done, but my reason is geniune, you can be sceptical or aware but what can i do? either i tell the truth or lie to you i can't change your perception, so it's up to.
i was looking at businessforsale websites to give an advert, will give it a go.

I wasn't saying you were lying I was just pointing out the fact that for it being such a profitable business your selling up quite quick but a you said you have your reasons. As for not telling the nature of the business here why not? what difference does it make saying it here or somewhere else?
It does sound interesting but I don't see how you can expect people to put a reasonable offer in for a business they don't even know the nature of.

What`s the difference between an autograph and a "signed autograph"  ???

I should clarify that I am offering a hand signed autograph of the Krankies (not a print).
I knew that would get your attention  ;)
And I see Cleancare is trying to raise the stakes by offering some "extras".
Well im about to blow your offer out of the water Cleancare!
3 bottles, yes thats right 3 bottles of Sex Panther Cologne! This stuff is illegal in 9 countries, its made with real bits of panther, so you know its good!
It's a formidable scent, it stings the nostrils in a good way.
And lastly the cherry on the cake which will seal the deal ... I will throw in my 30 capsules of Stallion 247  8)

That's a lot to offer for something which may turn out to be pie in the sky.  I wouldn't part with the Stallion capsules till I saw evidence of cash flow in the form of hard evidence that this business turns over what Fark says it does.

If Fark's genuine, he'll be to show you the proof no problems.

my 2nd guess is its making websites for businesses who havent got one.

My guess, for what it's worth, is having a series of your own websites with links to other websites and then getting revenue from pay per click on the links.

There are similar systems for sale on ebay for £50. You can make money at it but it's not easy (but then I haven't tried).

Nobody just "gets bored" of earning £4-5k a month for polishing leather with their backside. Farkham, if you really have got itchy feet then get a lad on minimum wage running your goldmine and start your new venture. You've already told us how easy it would be to train him.

But then I somehow feel that the main motivation behind your post is to sell your idea for £35k and then have a nice cruise somewhere  ;D

fark.... if you tell us what your doing in your business, will this info make us less likely to buy off you?

thats quite important if you want a fair price.

eg if your buying concert or sporting tickets and reselling them, i dont think, even though your making £5g a month the business would be worth anything, your just selling infomation, which is different than selling a business.
