Some help please
« on: September 03, 2011, 01:38:25 pm »
Hi Guys

Just poped over from the CC forum to ask for some info, not for me for my brother who is a window cleaner.

The guy he works for has offered to rent my brother the round he does under a proper contractual agreement and i just want some basic information so to make sure he doesnt get stiched up and considers the pros and cons before getting involved. How much as a percentage of the turnover would/should the rental cost, also he has been offered a van and equipment on a rental basis as well as he doesnt have the cash to get his own so how much should that cost. Any other advice or considerations he needs to take into account would be helpful.

Thanks in advance

Tony

So three reasons why no one has posted a reply.

A. My request makes no sense

B. You just don't like carpet cleaners invading your space

C. The information requested is just too commercially sensitive for you to answer

If it is C then I understand but this is a genuine request for help not for myself, just want to point my brother in the right direction.

If any of you can help you could email me at aandmcleaning@ fsmail.net

Thanks in advance if anyof you can help, if not I fully understand.

Thanks

Tony

I think it is D. need more info

what is the value of the work?

as I would imagine better valued work could be rented out for a higher %

I know roughly how much the work is worth, I thought if I asked for percentages it would get a better response because no one who answered would have to give cash figures.

So the rental value would depend on what? I honestly have no idea. Of you told me to ask my brother xyz and then you can give me an answer then that's good for me.

Thanks

Tony
