That's great Paul thanks for the pic. Looking at it I would cut the hose before the black handle and fit a rectus 21, then I can simple connect my aqua dapter hose with rectus fitting into that .  :)

Hi Mike,

can you tell me why you have that connector in the middle ?
It's not necessary, you could just have the hose-tail barb in the end of the pole hose.

It's a push-fit stop valve (one on each end of the pole hose) so when you pack away the pole hose can be disconnected both ends and the water stays in it.  Less water on the floor and no lag when reconnecting.  I put the small section (rectus to push-fit) in the lid of the backpack.

i cut the hose before the black handle with tap bit on

Yes, that's what I'm going to do with this one, just haven't got round to it yet!  The tap's quite heavy/cumbersome and there are more connections to leak.

get some cheap protecta balls so when you are dragging the bp around the rectus connection is off the floor helps

I don't tend to bother with protector balls, I just wrap electricians tape around the hose in a rugby ball shape,

is this orange one a bit more see through than the blue on in the pic??

thats the only con about this bp - cant always see the water level well

Ok thanks, going to order one Monday, dog crap heaven is due this week :o

cant you just dump the sh@t work?

pardon the puns  ::)

Don't want to because she got me the other 3 customers next to her. The reason I want the backpack is because it will save me a good 10 mins on the job. Alex, I use an aqua dapter with my clx so the hose you provided me with with suffice, just need a short length from backpack to rectus fitting  :)

You'll spend a good ten minutes filling it up.. I have one too.. takes awhile to fill.. but they're handy.
