I wouldn't mind you using it but I haven't got one nor am I anywhere near Essex. Saying that if I did have one and you were nearer no you couldnt not if I was using it myself on Wednesday. If I wasn't you'd have to drive over yourself and pick it up, so I dont know if that would make it economically viable or not, unless you allowed for that in the price, which I dont know if you did or not. In which case if you did I wouldn't mind a cut myself, how about 30%? Not that that's any good as I havent got one anyway so we're kinda stumped in that case aren't we. How about we get some ladders and I foot them, you shimmy up them, hook the crap out and off we go.

I didn't realise it was that easy, here is me subbing work out if I don't have the equipment, when all I had to do was ask :o

so if someone can lend me a super dooper light weight 60 foot pole that would be great, saves me saving up for one

Cracks me up stu Ive seen bigger firms than me asking to borrow superlites, guttervacs etc you would think they would have these the amount of work they appear to have. Im a soletrader and I have these because they are nescacary for the services I offer....put your hand in your pocket for goodness sake.

I have to say I felt a twinge of sadness reading the OP.

Don't know your situation. Can you not afford a vac? Is it not worth buying one because you hardly ever have the need?

'Stuff' is quite personal. My gutter cleaning 'Stuff' certainly is. I wouldn't loan it to my best friend. Could be summed up along the lines of "You toucha my Vac, I breaka your face!"   ;D

Not being nasty. I hate letting go of work. But it might be worth asking if someone else can do the job. Or as WC Solutions said buy one and make some decent money.

All the best. I feel as if you've had a very rough ride with this thread.

you have a point, to be fair all he did was ask, and a saying round here is a shy bairn doesn't get any sweeties. so if you don't ask you don't get

still I would have priced high and put a post up asking to hire or sub the job

I feel bad now its the people who give it the big balls about branching into this and that putting themselves out there as mr big then asking strangers on a forum to borrow gear...FUR COAT NO NICKERS

No need to feel bad. I read the thread cold and I don't know the OP's history. I'm a sole trader and I struggled to buy my vac. As said above I wouldn't loan it out, not least because someone who wants to borrow one has probably never used one and I don't want him learning on mine.

I was just trying to say that we all sometimes say the wrong thing but I do understand the negative feeling that the OP's request generated (Matt's post was a classic  :D)

The OP's website quotes << Gutter Clearing up to 30 feet using our Guttervac system from the ground  >>

Perhaps he lent it to somebody?? ??? ??

Im not really bitching at the op cos a few people have done it, I just dont understand how it would even cross your mind to expect to BORROW something from virtual (see what i did?) strangers. RENTit yes. Its not cheeky to offer someone payment for a service i.e. HIRE a guttervac it is afterall what we do, offer services for RENUMERATION. spotted one of SAJ's pictures on thier website one he  OFFERED to share. can anyone crack my Davinci code?

I think Polarvac are based in Essex.
Maybe if you look up their number. You might be able to hire one off them.
