new pole time!...
« on: August 31, 2011, 08:04:14 pm »
right boys n girls!

time for a new pole.

looking for a good closed length of around 5ft so can be used for the bottoms aswell.

so is it still the slx or is there anything else about?

the elite looks ok.

its needed for mainly your standard houses etc ... so i guess you could say the every day pole.

This one fits the bill perfectly and will set you back no more than a tenner.

I thought that the hose was crap when I first got my poles, but it does settle down with use.
if it is dirty it is fair game

I think that the above comments highlight the problem with hose choice - what suits one user another user hates. I'm the same I love some hoses and hate others!

A lot of our clients love the latest soft formulation and keep coming back for more for the rest of their poles - These same clients hated the previous stiffer hose.

On the other hand;

We do have clients who hate the current soft formulation (as some above) and much preferred the older stiffer stuff.

To sort this out in about 3-4 weeks time we will be offering a choice on all of the poles -  either soft  non-memory or the stiffer formulation.

Of course there will still be those that prefer the even more rigid PU hose (like Ionics' orange) and there is a good choice of suppliers that can supply this. I personally do not like PU hose at all (just my opinion) so this is why we will not be stocking it.

SLX 25FT with aqua-daptor and supalite DT FLOCKED is what i use all day everyday for all my work from small/medium,large domestic and  small/medium commercial.reaches all windows over the deepest kitchen extensions/conny roofs,velux and 3 storey windows.not to mention most windows above flat roofs.

fantastic pole.very rigid,light and comfortable closed length for ground floor windows.robust too.i can see this pole lasting me a couple of years at least with a bit of care and attention!well worth the money IMO.
