Fun eggs
« on: October 25, 2005, 06:07:35 pm »
Asda are packaging eggs with  Halloween fun written on the boxes.
98p for 9 eggs. Can you believe it? Half the world starving and these pratts are encouging kids to throw eggs. The idiot who dreamt up this promotion should be made to spend a day sraping them off windows.
A six month stint in Africa helping starving kids might do him/her some good too. DAI

Now many years ago, when I was a child, I foolishly pelted the streets nosy neighbours window with eggs(Dont mess with anyone named Dilys).  OMG how I paid for it.
She "instructed" my mum to send me around her house the following day with a bucket of water & a rag.  I spent HOURS cleaning 1 window.   Of course, I have never done it since.    God Bless window cleaners!

I so know what you mean about dried on egg!   Asda should be made to pay for their foolishness.

An old collegue of mine used to throw eggs at the windows of commercial properties.
Then he would canvass the area a few days later, He got a fair bit of work from it, but he didnt have to clean them after his lads did.
