be interesting result and make us all more realistic when pricing -i know i shall be reluctant to take on underpriced work after a recent paper work out.

Between £25-30 I would say if you keep it tight. It depends how much advertising you do and what kind of van you want, milage etc.

Some will say less others more, but for OMB expenses should't really exceed £8k.

Tax not included in these figures.

I reckon you could get to 70% of your daily takings as earnings depending on amount of work, distance travelled etc

Are you including your tax snd NI in 'overheads' ?  after all you will have to put this money aside as well as money for
running costs and replacing worn out equipment etc...

I haven't calculated mine recently but it wouldn't surprise if I exceed £8k in a year when there is higher van maintenance and/or I buy some of the more expensive tools.  Please note though that my (metered) water and unit rental take care of nearly £2k.  I live in a flat and it's not practical to filter water at home.
