a thought... an add on pressure washing
« on: August 19, 2011, 08:00:04 am »
hello guys
I am an experienced window cleaner of 19 yrs.... 12 yrs ladders, and 7yrs water fed pole.... needless to say I have a good condensed round  ;D....
a thought poped into my head the other day... "pressure washing " and cleaning of walls, etc...
there are a lot of houses popping up around here with rendered finishes.... I live in one myself, my house is 3 yrs ols , and already i have had to clean green algea off with my tiny electric pressure washeer.....
since this thought popped in my head, I have noticed peoples paths, drives and patios :o....
ok... this is what my goal is.... just as it is from maybe march to october, I do quite a bit of fascia and gutter cleans....not to many as it gets me behind with windows......
so I would like to just aim for 2 -3 pressure washing jobs a week( small domestic jobs)...

my plan would be just to let my customer base know of this service and test the water...
I will start letting them know now, on mu calling cards etc ready for next year.
I will by a petrol pressure washer....
I would like any advice... ecpecialy as to the best chemicals detergents to have on board...

please be gentle with me... I am very sensitive :D
regards
pete

Turn this back to you :)

As a company we carry out exterior building / office cleaning and roof cleaning, we added to our kit a portable Filta Pura system... after washing cladding etc quick way to finish windows saves subbing out the work... majority of time left in store not being used..

Is it worth starting a small window cleaning round utillising this bit of kit!!  ???
Hate having plant laying around not busy..
