Hi Roy
Please can you tell us where you got your last stainless steel roof vent from, how far does it protrude above the van's roofline as does it prevent rain water from getting into the flue. Also what diamt flue pipe did you use to connect it as I saw a picture you posted of a reducer you bought. Can you also please tell us what the heaters overall length is.
Thanks for your assistance.
Cheers

Is it a case of just plugging a single hose from my shurflo into the hotwash then into the hose reel? Or  could i put two pump feeds into a single reducer in, and then the same out, into 2 reels (8mm minibore)? and does the heater detect water flow and switch off and on every time i turn on my hose tap? How reliable is the temp setting, is it safe on glass in cold weather at say hand warm? If i did run two reels i would imagine i would have 2 raise the temp up when the 2 are running, but then if one man turned his tap off would the temp then rise to a to hot temp on the glass in the cold? THANKS M

Just got one last week.was also frustrated on the lack if info on peters website.having said that postage was the next morning, very swift!used it for a few days now and I am impressed.very sturdy, always fired up (unlike l5) and gets really, really hot! Flow rates are way way lower than l5 also

I too have a Fogwash. Even when you buy it you'll have very little info but having said that it's so simple to use. Water in water out and a gas supply. Ignition runs off batteries. Roy posted a few pics and did a good job. I changed my hose to reel for radiator hose. Works ok for me. It really needs a flue but can be run if the doors are open.

Does the fogwash have a 17min timeout style cutoff, like the l5 has

i recommend them, although mine did stop working, but discovered a reset button on top of the unit. ok now. its takes 1/2" thread so quite easy to plumb in. i use 15mm pipes. make sure you plumb in after resin barrels as i melted mine! well warped. still work though.
