New Carpet Cleaning Service (Nilfisk) & Advice Required
« on: August 15, 2011, 03:41:21 pm »
Hi all,

We have recently bought a Nilfisk MX 307H Extraction Machine as our first major carpet cleaner complete with standard wand and 7.5m (15ft) vac hose/ solution hose.

I had tested a few machines in "sales rooms" inc Prochem etc and for the price/performance/weight/size etc we got the Nilfisk.........

After giving the machine a good test drive "in houses" we now would like to increase the vac pipe length! As this is a single vac motor, would it be ok to increase to 30 or 40ft?

I have tried Nilfisk but they stated they supplied just the 15ft as standard and they could not advise me on what size hose i could increase too.....hmmm

Any advice/experience welcome

More questions looming  ;)

7.5 metres x 3.3 = 24.75ft, If i have read it right you have nearley 25ft of hose

1m is 3.3ft, you'll have enough power for 50ft comfortably.

These are good machines. Nilfisk own US Products and this is one of their machines re-badged.
