My number plate is A2 XYZ and I've changed my name to Xavier Yan Zboda.

My Fiesta van is V***JWC.

It came with the van when I bought it last year, so as I am John the Window Cleaner I thought  it was a nice touch.

Shame I am about to lose it. I have moved to Ireland, so the van will be getting an Irish plate.

John

Why bother changing it? Loads of Irish vans over here that never seem to get changed. I think you only have to bring it back once a year for a day.

I used to get stopped by a guy driving his Irish plated Transit, trying to sell me stuff out of the back of it. I was always suspicious and never bought from him. I feel the locals here would feel the same about me if I didn't get the van registered/tested/taxed here. And as I'm here for good, I reckon I need to show it.

John.
Being diplomatic is being able to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

i guess the downside of it is that you cant  let it slide like you can windows , no having a few days off or otherwise there will be a mountain of poop waiting for you .

That is one of the downsides, you are very committed to a fairly rigid routine and all the days off etc go out of the door.
