car battery or not New
« on: August 12, 2011, 08:56:27 pm »
I have just been to Halfords and purchased a BOSCH SILVER 12 volt 77 AH car battery as it was with the leisure batteries,I have just looked it up on line and is definetly a car battery and not a leisure one, will it make any difference and if so what difference will it make,I went for the non maintenence one that don't leak acid, your thoughts please as if it won't suit my van mount I will need to return it for a leisure one,by the way it has a 5 year guarentee or does that matter.
Thanks in advance :)

I have a small car battery from halford i use as a backup battery.... will last me a day and half when fully charged.

It wont last as long as a leisure battery would, but will do the job !
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go
