little giant ladder
« on: August 09, 2011, 11:00:19 pm »
i have folding ladders that go quite neatly in van but they are not long enough to reach the gutter line of a standard 2 storey house.

i wondered whether anyone has these little giant ladders as i think they do do one long enough - are they easy and safe to use?

i need this as when using gutter vac i cant always clear a blockage in the downpipe.

Mark,

They are great step ladders but having used mine as a ladder a couple of times I wouldn't recommend it, they are very heavy and the weight distribution is very uneven its a real fight getting them up against a wall.

They are long enough to do the job, but I'm sure there is a better solution!

thanks mate that was my concern about them so saved me a few quid there. im just reluctant to mess around with a ladder on the roof rack, partly coz of potential theft and partially coz of messing around with them and securing them right every time. ones in the van nice n tidy.
