ro membrane flush

so how long should i open up the waste tap for to flush the membranes? 5 mins 10 mins?

i fill a 350 litre tank by the way with a 650gpd ro!

yeah its a streamline 650gpd boosted. it came with instructions but metions nothing about flushing membranes  ???

i have a pure freedom set up , and i was informed that if its standing idle for 3 days it needs flushing for 15-20 mins

 :o wow that long? i'll start doing that too then! what spec is your ro?

so to do this your just open the waste tap full and thats all?

have you read what ive said properly? why do you say wow that long? 15 TO 20 MINS IF LEFT IDLE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS

what i do GB is after its been flushed ,take a reading AFTER you have moved the lever back into the position for when you produce water. then you can make the desicion if you need to change your resin

i do same as Panorama, if R. O. off for a few days, just flush for 15-20mins, then link up like normal and check TDS is 000 before putting flow into tank, simples   ;D
