Fantastically Broad Generalisation with some fact, some supposition and some complete rubbish.

40 k a year  wouldnt even get out of bed for that,  why do people lie about what they make, every one knows we all make £100 before 8 am doing our commercials and nationals,  then its on to domestics at £30 a pop   and remember its all cash in hand,  so no tax,  and if you have got a second van on the road,   christ its like printing money

I think the article was reasonable.  It doesn't mention the years of customer sifting to get to that point.  Nor does it allow for some people being a lot less fit than they might be.  Broadly speaking though, a reasonable article IMO.  Personally, I found trad cleaning more and more of a hard slog for a few years before going WFP.  It was partly about getting a bit older, partly about being overweight, and partly about being ill for quite a while.
WFP gave me a new vision.

I would like to point out that he is not entirely neutral because he sells window cleaning gear so no way is he going to say its rubbish, don't waste your time.

the only thing what really interested me was higher earning potential for commercial work as apposed to demestic!

would you agree with this?

no, i was thinking more like office blocks and stuff, so would you say £40-£50 an hour is about right for commercial/industrial?

Yes perhaps but its also very competitive and hard to get into the loop of knowing when tenders are up for bidding and even harder to price accurately so you don't go in too low and loose money. Too high, and somebody else gets the job.

Yes, it's an interesting read. As reasonably accurate as you are likely to get. If you think it isn't accurate enough have you might like to consider the differences of opinion you find on here. It ain't going to happen.

GB

the problem with commercial is there is that many going for them that they drive the price down,  to a point where it aint worth it and people stop going then they phone around till they get a cheap quote again, as some one will always work for a cheap price
