one thing leads to another

Did a small lounge carpet as an emergancy job today, out came the neighbour, "pop in when your finished" which i did and he booked in for next week. Turns out the small lounge job was for the bloke who owns the local cinema, wants that done at the end of the season.
Driving out of the town the phone goes...its the hotel i just drove past can i pop in for a chat...turned round called in and they booked there carpets for September.
All from a job that was not really worth it....just goes to show never turn a job down, you never know where its going to lead.

As John Caufield who started and sold "Phones 4 U" for hundreds of millions of £ says-
"Take all the crumbs off the table..."

Your dead right.
"If i'm not in action, I'm in traction"
Voted 397th best looking carpet cleaner in West Sussex 2015. Up 10 from last year...

I've had a few like that to Paul, especially with commercial work lately. I cleaned a fire damaged oven for a lady and a heap of carpets. Everything exceeded her expectations and she asked for a stack of business cards as she works for a large amount of holiday let companies.

The thing is, I advised her to get a new oven as I didn't think it would clean up, but she insisted I had a go. Good job I did.... :)
