canvassing on a sunday?

Does anyone canvass on a sunday? I was thinking of doing a few hours tomorrow.

just been talking to the wife about this,

she recons its a no no i think i agree,

people have family round, sunday lunch and all that

dont think id want some one at me door on a sunday

so a day off it is for me, id be intrested in what others think aswell

I tend to agree colin, just wanted to see what feedback I got on this, just backs up what I thought, its a no no. Cheers for your feedback.

theres one area i work and for the last few sundays theres been a few canvassers about calling on customers i do , some of them have said to me that they are getting really fed up with this , 1 as even put a note in is door window saying please dont knock i allready have a window cleaner . i agree with colin and would give sunday a miss .

Yeah same here, I'm starting out so need to get bang on it, I'm doing wfp, but got all the trad gear for back up if ever needed.

one of my best days knocking every was a sunday between 5 - 8  got 19

I think sunday would be good. (more people in)

Start say 11am pack up by 1-30pm. (not knocked on a sunday myself)

your probably get some moaners.

worth a try,  we don't all think the same.

I use to worry about working on a saturday but do if i'm behind now never had a problem.

only done it once back in april ,2hrs 10.30-12.30 picked up 14 houses.Give it a go mate you got nothing to loose.

Im a big fan of canvassing ... I love it and if I wasnt so busy cleaning windows then I would do it full time on a nationwide basis ... btw Im very good at it too - sold cars for 25 years so that helps however nope never on a Sunday ... 6 other days to go at jusy my opinion though  :)

Wouldn't even consider canvassing on a Sunday personally!! I could only imagine a frosty reception at most homes.
