Do you really need to go to the expense of a hot water system or hot water upgrade? Who on here can say hand on heart that it was worth the money.

I have been cleaning windows with a cold system for 4 years and not had any problems?

Ive been using hot, diy system, for over 3 yrs.
I use it all year round on every job & find it helps with cleaning bird muck, bee spots etc.
I prefer it in the summer when the heat can be turned up to aid cleaning , where as in the winter, you have to turn it down to luke warm, so you dont break the glas, but its just nicer to use.
Its also better for con' roof & gutter/ fascia cleaning, i dont pre treat these jobs anymore.
Knowing all this, would i spend 3-4-5 thousand on a pro system,
I dont think so,  personally.
But cheap diy, excellent value for money

You could argue that you don't need a lot of things, like a nice cf pole or even a wfp system however hot does work a lot faster and easier especially on cladding, guttering and conservatory roofs, but no you don't need it.

for one off cleans and fascia and con cleaning i can see the advantage
but for every day maintenance cleaning it aint no quicker

Steve. Did you have to build a vented enclosure for your LPG tank or did you manage to get a tank mounted on the outside of the van?

I'm interested in this so thanks for the link.

Did you fit the tank yourself? If so do they supply a DIY instruction manual? There does appear to be a DIY element to this website ie free stone chip and leak spray for DIY fitting. Looking on the website I wouldn't have a clue what to order.

How do you fill it? In other words, do you connect to LPG filler directly to the tank using the fitting as I thought that if it was fitted inside your vehicle you had to have the protective cover on vented to the outside with an outside filler.

Does the unit already come with a regulator so you can connect your heater up to it directly with a length of hose?

Whilst I am familar with an ordinary gas bottle and regulator used in a caravan, barbarques etc. I am probably making this more complicated than it actually is.

Yes you are making it more complicated !!!
All it is really, is a gas bottle wth a fill bayonet on top .
Use your normal regulator, needs an adapter, which is sold on the site, and the fill bayonet that screws to the unit.

Thanks for the reply and the picture. Did they supply a bracket for you to secure the tank to the floor with or are they welded on lugs that I can't see?

You can buy a brkt from that site or make your own, like im in the process of doing.
There are no brkts on the tank
