Does anyone on here clean windows in the dark just wondering if not why as a lot of window cleaners say they could clean windows with their eyes shut

Yep, just like Gaz I do loads of commercial stuff and 4 days a week I'm up at just after 5am.
With all the streetlights on and the lighting that shops leave on it isn't much of a problem I've found.
you'd be stuffed on domestic though, just not enough ambient light....apart from which, I don't know what the customer would think with you either up a ladder or waggling your pole over the bedroom windows at 6am in the morning ;D

Though I have ended out working up till 5pm in the past, wouldn't do it now though :-\

I wouldn't advise cleaning residential customers after dark; not without a head torch and a good explanation.
