just in case anyone wants to know. I have a 400 layflat, one pump, one reel, 2 poles, full tank of fuel, one driver who is about 6ft2 and 14 stone. The tank was a little off the top in terms of being full and the total gross vehicle weight was bang on 1700kg the pay load is 595kg and the overall limit is 1700kgSo the moral of the story is 400 litres is to much. 350 is the limit and 300 should be comfortable. If you have 2 men plus all the gear then i'd be lost
Yeah, but Daz, if you are only 5 foot odd, that could make all the difference.
well my kangoo has a 625kg payload and i have a 350L TANK.trolley/reel/1 SLX,trad gear and ladders.im 18 stone so i reckon im on the limit with a full tank when i start my day.luckily all my work is within an 8 mile radius.i never fill my fuel tank right up.half way usually.i think ill make sure i have a 800kg payload van next time with a 400L TANK.that way ill know for sure im under the limit!! regardsdazmond
Cheers Steve,That rules that van out then.
