richard i seriously wouldnt get that pole mate.if your new to wfp you could do yourself an injury to shoulders, neck and it will be too heavy and bendy.the closed length will be awkward for ground floor windows.i wasted money on a hydra and streamline glass fibre poles.far too heavy.

get a 22ft or 27ft clx for starters then get a SLX as soon as possible when funds allow.these poles are the best on the market and will be the best investment you ll ever make.

dont kid yourself that youll do the odd house with wfp.before you know it you ll want to pole the lot as its so much easier on above ground level work.

I've looked at John Hewitt's backpacks also what's putting me off is the thought of constantly going back for more water. Think they only hold about 17 litres. Not sure if it would be much quicker than trad if I had to do this

Once you have the first cleans out of the way, then a backpack will be enough water for a house.

Think about getting a larger RO - 100GPD isnt much - they never produce 100GPD (thats US gallons)

Also i'd suggest getting a few 200L water butts .... best to have more water than not enough

Once you get the backpack, you could convert this to a trolley with the bits from the backpak and have 25L barrels instead

Go for a clx - slx ..... Dazmond is spot on in what he says.
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go
