sudden loss of pressure
« on: July 28, 2011, 07:06:27 pm »
Hi Guys, my system has always worked fine {once I had renewed every part} but today it has suffered a real loss of pressure. Barely enough stream to rinse. The battery is fully charged so it's not that, is it just a case of taking the pump out and checking it's not got anything in or is it likely to be something else?
Cheers.

An Ionic Pro5, 1000 litre tank. Normally all works really well?

Do you have a flow controller, if so connect the pump directly to the battery.
That way you will know if its the pump

Had that problem last week with my system. Ended up being a faulty brass Hozelok with stop coupling. It was only a week old as the original fell apart after 4 years use.
I originally though it was a battery problem.

I was having a look at all the connections last night and what have you and this morning it seems to be working ok again. Hope it's not going to be one of those intermittent things! Thanks for the advice.
