Can they be nicked Yes you need to use a wheel lock and hitch lock.
As far as insurance, ours are insured when pulling the trailer or stored at secure parking, as in you pay for it.

Yeh it does a bit ty lads. Does anyone here have a trailer? If soo, what size tank can you get it an averaged sized one? I'm thinking of money saving by getting rid of van and just having one vehicle + trailer.

I`ve seen , an iconic`s machine , installed iinside a horse trailer , pulled by a transit ,, the f@@kers had one of my Hotels too

In the past i made a setup which had a 500l flat tank in a erde 142 trailer (£430 halfords) strapped to the axle, i made a pump box and used a backpack pump running off a 12v 18amp battery and it worked fine, even a bit of room left for a hose reel. But you would only want to fill it to about 450l otherwise it would put u over the payload. But all in all a van mount is much better to work from.

wont it be a pain to reverse it esp when down a small street with lots of vehicles?im sure sean dyer had one and had loads of problems.what about winter?have you got somewhere to store it?

However i know many who love them ?

So it s all relative, if you are experienced with them , and know you will find parking at work , then go for it, i found them a pain in the bumhole though

PS  had a huge box, braked trailer, with a 650 litre tank, maybe a tiny erde with a 250 is a different story, but im through with them , small - medium van all the way for me
