Help again.

Is it just me that can't work out what everyone's going on about.

I like the nice simple things in life.

Like a cuppa to wake up with and refills for the following 3 hours.

A few jars of cider every so often and how do I know when I'm drunk? When I can't lie on the floor without holding on.

Bread that doesn't burn under the toaster.

Supermarkets that only stock what I want to buy and nothing else. i.e. beans. bread. milk. tea bags and cocoa pops.

And so on..

Graham always told me Morrisons was a fine establishment.

I'm useless at this.  :-[

Hi Ross,

Morrisons is a supermarket chain, started up nort and slowly arriving in the south west.  Same lines as Kwik Save  and Somerfield.

Assume morrisons have not made it to Brighton as there type of shoppers probably dont live there.

Asda girl myself,

Regards,

Did the early shift today.

Had a weird night actually.  I set the alarm for 6am and it went off, so I turned it off, got up, washed, dressed, etc.  opened curtains and noticed clock.....it was only 3.30am.   So got undressed and re-set alarm clock.  Woke at 7.30am!!  Late to work, customers giving me grief, was VERY busy, bordering on manic & I've cut my thumb, got a blister on a finger, my combi boiler is leaking and I've not had feedback from house viewing, so having a terrific day!   Still, being positive...i am off later to buy a router & wireless card today so I can watch TV AND be online together.

from the happy lass

Lizzy

Did the early shift in bed today.

I set the alarm for 8.15 (I don't do that 'early stuff'), looked out the window at the trees bending 45 degrees sideways due to the wind and went back to doing what I do really well - sleep.  ;D

At 8.45 one of the other two I work with knocked on my door. His pregnant girlfriend was moaning at him so he'd decided to come to work.  :-[

I then phoned up the third one of us and got him up also on the basis that if 2 of us are up and not working, then he gets up as well.

We went and had a yummy fry up breakfast and after the usual egg induced flatulence had exhausted itself we went shopping for stinkbombs.

We also poured half a gallon of washing up liquid in a large fountain down near the seafront. It's quite amusing seeing big clumps of bubbles blowing through the air and sticking to the sides of buses.

Yup. It was a good day and tonight my missus is miles away at her mums.

Cider.... slurp slurp

Hi Sarah

I'm not sure but I've saw people coming out of Asda's with bags that had Morrison's written on them.  ???

I don't 'do' supermarkets unless I'm battered into going. In fact I hate the places. In fact I don't really do any shopping at all other than for things I want.

And tonights weather.......

Cheers

Oddly enough - at the moment I can see the stars.

It's windy though and is averaging 36 mph and gusting to 55 mph.

It saves sweeping up all the rubbish in the front garden.

And .... I've a whole night on my own. F-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c.

Cheers

Ross, if you 'orrible lot actually did some work, you might be able to afford some proper plonk; like a nice bottle of red; rather than cider.  Are you getting in training for that park bench you'll be occupying in a year or so? ;)

Chatauneuf du Pap?

What-ever.  I'm no alcohol snob, it's only that 'White Lightning' gives me heart-burn.  What's that stuff that Jocks go mad about; famous from Rab C Nesbit?

I did a skiing course with the Jock-Guards a few years back and what a bunch of drinkers they were; extreme.

One young lad, on our last night drank a bottle of aftershave because he'd ran out of money.  JOOP it was.  He said it was okay as he didn't buy it himself.  It was a present from a girlfriend.

You do know Ross is a Porridge Wog don't you?

How's the heart-burn, Ross?

(You know I'm only serious... ;))

Proper plonk? And get into all that 'it's got a crunchy little palet' and 'a nice nutty reasonance on the gum' type stuff?

Actually, one sometimes does partake of the red wine but generally one prefers to be British and not like some horrible little Frenchman.

Seriously though, wine gives me viscious headaches the morning after and anyway, the cider I drink is organic and locally brewed with Sussex apples and does not contain antifreeze.

I like to help my local economy...  ;D

The French don't like it to be known that their vines came from America anyway.

Oh here we go. ::)

You're worse than Ian. You're workaholics. :D
That's not such a good sort of "holic"

Doesn't look like many around here worked much today. ;)
