I had posted before on your startup plan.
My advice would be to print off the CMS post and learn it in detail. Then do it!
I have said this befoe but will repeat it.
Make a PLAN,
Plan the number of calls you are going to make. (In person)
Plan the areas you want to target
Plan how you are going to record the details you collect
Plan when you are going to follow up each call (in a diary)
Plan the number of clients you want in the next 12 months.
If you set yoursel targest and work towards them, I guarantee you will be suprised by the results you can acheive. The CMS post is perfectly correct, keep collecting compliment slips and keep following them up.
Yes your plan will take hard work and dicipline, but you wouldnt be working for yourself if you didnt think you had either or both. The old saying applies "you only get out what you put in" this is a FACT!
Start to Plan it and it will begin to happen for you!
